Thanks.
The accomplishment of IPFIREwall has been possible also thanks to many persons i met in the news and by email. I would like to thank in particular:
- Alessandro Rubini, for the initial fundamental advice not to develop filtering code in user space;
- Alexander Harsch, for his kind willingness and immediate help by email;
- Andrea Barberio, for the interest shown in my work and for his willingness.. In bocca al lupo per lo Slackware Linux Project Italia!!!;
- Jozsef Kadkecsik, for his explanation about netfilter TCP connection tracking in relation to the TCP windows seen by the sender/receiver and the tracker in the middle;
- Diego Billi, whose advice made me think a lot over the last issue... finally solved!
- Luigi Rizzo, which also helped me think about the last problem related to corrupted packets arriving on the wire when calling an ISP.
- People who contacted me because interested in my work while developing their University Computer Science degree thesis or other papers/projects, or asked me to publish my work on Sourceforge or other developers' places... I will think about it...
